This wine reveals a good tannin structure. It is a silky and elegant wine with a long and sweet finish. Aged in barrels instead of large casks, and then bottled three years after its harvest, which means that it is bottled a year later than the Classic Vintage. All these factors allow the production of a great Vintage. A wine that goes really well with Serra da Estrela Cheese or other "blue" cheeses.
