Refugees Rum is the result of a blend created by Chef Ljubomir Stanisic, aged for two years at the Zimbro distillery in French oak barrels where the Douro wine and then the sour cherry were previously aged. Produced from sugar cane from Syria and North Africa (certification of origin), which migrated through the Mediterranean Sea to the south of Spain, where it was distilled, and finally arrived in Portugal, this is a rum made from noble woods, with sweetness, elegance and subtlety.
