Taylor's Vintage Port Wine 1994 with Madeira Box 75cl

Deep crimson in colour, just beginning to show some maturity in the rim. The explosive fruit of youth is more restrained now as the wine begins to come into its own in maturity. However, the nose is still led by impressive, focused aromas of blackberry and blackcurrant, enhanced by the classic Taylor's violet scent. Full-bodied and well-structured, with rich blackberry and cassis flavours. Spice, liquorice and fig flavours develop on the long, sumptuous finish.
