2017 will be remembered as one of the hottest and driest years at Douro. The low yields resulted in very concentrated and well-structured wines of incredible intensity. Also noteworthy is the well-ripened fruit that provide impressive freshness and vitality to the wines.
Cockburn Vintage 2017 has in its composition the usual component of Touriga Nacional, but the proportion of Touriga Franca, due to its excellent performance, has been increased over the previous Vintage Port from Cockburn's.
